Cian joined the Clegg team in 2020 after completing his A-levels and a brief stint in a customer service role. He began as a construction trainee working on-site for a year, and - whilst getting to know the business and the various different facets of the construction and pre-construction process - became interested in pursuing a role in bid management.

In summer 2021, Cian embarked on a new role as assistant bid manager, working out of Clegg’s offices in High Pavement in the Lace Market whilst studying towards a Clegg-funded BSc Honours in Construction Management at Nottingham Trent University.

In 2024, Cian passed with flying colours and was promoted to Bid Manager.

Cian said: “I am thrilled to have graduated with a 2:1 in Construction Management from Nottingham Trent University. Studying part time has been a great way of working towards my degree, while at the same time allowing me to develop and progress my career at Clegg Construction.
